How we work

The garage door trade has a reputation problem, and most of it is earned. A homeowner calls about a broken spring, and the technician arrives with a "package": both springs, all new rollers, new cables, a new opener, all quoted as one urgent number in the driveway. Some of those parts may genuinely be worn. Often they are not.

We do it differently, for a simple reason: a company with a handful of neighbouring towns to work in cannot afford to treat anyone as a one-time customer.

You get told what is actually broken. We show you the snapped spring, the frayed cable or the stripped gear. If something else is worn and close to failing, we point at it and explain why, and you decide whether to deal with it today or later.

You get the price before the work. No hourly meter, no surprises on the invoice. If we find something unexpected halfway through, we stop and ask.

Parts are matched to your door. A torsion spring has to be sized to the weight and height of the door it lifts. Getting that wrong produces a door that is heavy to lift by hand, wears out the opener, and breaks the next spring early. We weigh and measure rather than guess.

Repair comes before replacement. Most garage doors that stop working are fixable, and we would rather sell you a spring than a door you did not need.
